In this project, I was tasked with developing a tool that would alleviate design time bottlenecks and standardize email designs, including colors, fonts, letter formatting, and logos. After careful evaluation, I decided to abandon our multitude of existing third-party tools in favor of developing a single email marketing platform specific to the needs of Ozon.

Well-Planned UI Kit Saves Time. With 150+ designers and constant landing page requests, we built a flexible block library that streamlined our workflow. Designers stopped recreating blocks from scratch, and developers reused layouts easily. A shared design system ensured consistency in styles, colors, and typography—greatly reducing time spent on edits and approvals.

~350 million Ozon orders per year delivered to lockers — a faster and safer way for customers to get their orders.

This was a research-driven project. We conducted interviews with both users and couriers to understand their pain points. We simplified the user steps and added clear illustrations to guide the process. The result is a super simple and intuitive interface for loading items—no training is needed anymore.

Stakeholders asked for a modern design platform and an easy way to shop directly from expert articles, which turned out to be very successful.

Ozon Club is a content platform with the mission of helping customers make more informed decisions. Its goal is to enable customers to gain a deeper understanding of brands and products on a single, comprehensive site with trustworthy content created by subject-matter experts. Prior to this project, content was scattered throughout several places, complicating a user’s experience and potentially hindering them from finding credible information. These are the gaps that Ozon Club aims to fill.

Mobile and Cross-Platform Application Design. This educational project from Yandex was designed for experienced designers, focusing on the step-by-step creation of an app interface from scratch. Before starting the design process, I conducted extensive research on the topic and the product and carried out in-depth interviews with potential users. The project was very successful; I was the top student in the course, and the testing of the prototype received positive feedback.

I earned a Master’s degree in Art & Design and started as a graphic designer. In 2012, I moved to Moscow and worked in large companies as a graphic and web designer. In 2014, I became a senior designer at EF English First. Later, I joined Ozon — the largest e-commerce company in Europe and Asia — where I grew from product to senior designer and led two designers. I worked on apps, websites, and responsive landing pages for desktop, tablet, and mobile. I also created admin systems to simplify email and landing page creation for managers. Many projects involved multiple languages and regions.
My Design Philosophy
With over 14 years in design and a strong foundation in UX, I approach every project with clarity, empathy, and attention to detail. I believe that great design should not only be visually engaging, but also intuitive, accessible, and efficient.Having worked across complex systems, branding, and creative tools, I enjoy turning challenges into scalable solutions that simplify and enhance the user experience.
I thrive in collaborative environments—I'm both a team player and a natural leader. I value continuous learning, draw inspiration from my colleagues, and take pride in helping others grow. One summer, I led a hands-on training program for product managers, guiding them on how to create impactful, creative emails using our internal admin system.

I moved to California in November 2021 and continued working remotely for Ozon as a Senior Product Designer. While I was waiting for my green card, I also completed online Study for a Pro Designers in Mobile and Cross-Platform Application Design at Yandex Practicum. I deepened my research and design skills through Coursera courses from Google and other top companies, actively attended meetups and conferences in the San Francisco Bay Area, volunteered in the design community, and took on freelance projects as I searched for a full-time opportunity.

I was asked to streamline communications, unify all teams, and create a consistent branded style so users could instantly recognize Ozon emails. I built a component library, tested icons and graphics, and launched an admin system for managing campaigns. I led the project almost entirely on my own for 3 years, with the first release in just 6 months.
